Electrician (Trades Technician IV) (full-time)

Position Area:

Qualifications Required:

* Substantial experience as an electrician.

* Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems and components.

* Knowledge of and experience with architectural and electrical drawings/schematics.

* Excellent problem-solving skills.

* Strong knowledge of electrical and construction safety best practices.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Must be physically able to lift more than fifty pounds and work from heights above twenty feet.

* Willingness to work outside in extreme and inclement weather conditions.

Additional Considerations:

The following factor may also be given consideration:

* Willingness to obtain state electrician's license.

* Industrial experience in electrical repairs and maintenance, including scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance.

Duties:

Responsibilities of the Electrician include:

* Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.

* Read technical diagrams and blueprints.

* Perform general electrical maintenance.

* Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.

* Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

* Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and/or fixtures.

* Ensure compliance with state and local electrical regulations.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary:

Pay Band 4 starting at $41,655
